Captain Morgan, a brand of London-based Diageo plc, unveiled Captain Morgan Spiced Gold 0.0%, an alcohol-free alternative to the iconic Original Spiced Gold, offering a deliciously spiced flavor profile. Following the successful launch of Guinness 0.0%, Tanqueray 0.0% and Gordons 0.0% during the past few years, Captain Morgan Spiced Gold 0.0% brings further choice to the market as the latest brand, and first dark spirit, to join Diageo’s alcohol-free portfolio.
Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum and Cocktail Courier teamed up to celebrate summer with Sophie’s Spiced-Up Special, the winning cocktail from the Battle of the Badtenders, presented by Captain Morgan.
New York-based Diageo North America and The Vita Coco Co., New York, announced their collaboration to launch a line of premium canned cocktails. Called Vita Coco Spiked with Captain Morgan, the spirits-based line will be available in three offerings – Piña Colada, Strawberry Daiquiri and Lime Mojito– all starting with a balanced blend of Captain Morgan Caribbean white rum and Vita Coco’s refreshing coconut water.
At the 2020 Gasparilla Pirate Fest, Captain Morgan came through for fest-goers by offering free Gasparilla Pirate Fest Scully VIP Hospitality tickets for up to 10 “Morgans” (anyone with the first, middle or last name of Morgan) and two members of their crew (21 or older).
Embossing, cap and label retooled to offer modern look

Captain Morgan Spiced Rum released a new bottle design. Updates were made to the embossing, cap and label to give the rum brand a modern look, the company says.
