The Juice Products Association has launched SipSmarter.org, a website dedicated to educating consumers about the science-backed health and nutritional benefits of 100 percent juice.

Lawrenceville, N.J.-based iTi Tropicals Inc. released a new infographic with information on how coconut water can be used to reduce the sugar content in 100 percent juice products while maintaining a 100 percent juice claim. 

Ramsey, N.J.-based Cascadia Managing Brands, a food and beverage brand management and consulting firm, announced it has signed a definitive brand management agreement with U.K.-based Rubicon Exotic Juices. 

The Juice Products Association (JPA) released a statement in January highlighting the nutritional benefits of 100 percent juice. “Can something that tastes as good as 100 percent fruit juice be good for you? Research shows it is,” the statement read. “More than just sugar and calories — 100 percent juice is a healthful, nutrient-dense beverage. It also contains beneficial vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients (plant compounds).”
