Dos Equis, a brand of White Plains, N.Y.-based Heineken USA, announced its new Cinco De Mayo-themed, fully-comprehensive, 360-degree campaign featuring national TV advertising, media partnerships, limited-edition packaging and a national sweepstakes. The campaign will encourage consumers to celebrate with Dos Equis and enter for a chance to win items from the Most Interesting Man’s collection of worldly possessions guaranteed to upgrade any Cinco de Mayo Celebration, the company says.
As Americans look for better-for-you alternatives to carbonated soft drinks (CSDs), the U.S. bottled water category is reaching unprecedented heights, according to new research from Chicago-based Mintel, which reveals that sales of bottled water increased 6.4 percent to top $15 billion in 2015. The market research firm expects sales to continue ascending at a rapid pace through 2020, with projected sales growth of 34.7 percent for the category, including 75.1 percent growth for the sparkling/mineral water/seltzer segment, it says.

Latitude Beverage Co., Boston, announced the national rollout of its Mija Sangria, a bottled Sangria made with 100percent unfiltered fruit juice. After selling out of 18,200 cases in its first six months across a dozen states last year, Latitude Beverage Co. says it expects to sell more than 50,000 cases this summer through its expanded distribution. Seagram's Hard Soda will be available in a range of flavors including Cherry Cola, Grape Soda, Lemon n' Lime and Orange Cream, the company says.
