Canton, Mass.-based Dunkin’ Donuts announced a program to give new members of its DD Perks Rewards Program the chance to score some extra perks. This week, Dunkin' Donuts, in partnership with Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co., is offering consumers who join the program the opportunity to win tickets to one of several COPA America Centenario soccer matches, also known as football, the company says.
Organic industry addresses supply chain challenges

The U.S. organic industry posted new records in 2015 with total organic product sales hitting a new benchmark of $43.3 billion, up 11 percent from the previous year's record level and far outstripping the overall food market's growth rate of 3 percent, according to the Washington, D.C.-based Organic Trade Association's (OTA) 2016 Organic Industry Survey.

Georgia Historical Society unveils marker where first Coca-Cola was served

Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co. and its global philanthropic arm The Coca-Cola Foundation announced that they are pouring money into improvements throughout the city's Centennial Olympic Park District. Coca-Cola Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Muhtar Kent announced the gift alongside Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed at a celebration hosted at the intersection of Peachtree and Marietta streets, where the first Coca-Cola was served 130 years ago on May 8, 1886, the company says.
Small and independent craft brewers across the country have created a special beer in honor of American Craft Beer Week (ACBW), May 16-22. The campaign, hastag #MakeSmallBeerBig, aims to celebrate the week with the Biggest Small Beer Ever Made, which was made by participating brewers in all 50 states using the same ingredients and recipe, according to Boulder, Colo.-based Brewers Association (BA).

This summer, Tecate Light, a brand of White Plains, N.Y.-based Heineken USA, is partnering with Chivas del Guadalajara, one of the most-followed soccer clubs in the Americas, to sponsor four of the club’s premier summer matches in the United States. The matches include June 25 in Chicago, July 2 in Denver, and July 10 and 31 in Los Angeles, the company says.
Budweiser, a brand of St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch, is taking its longstanding tradition of patriotic packaging even further this summer by replacing "Budweiser" with "America" on the front of its 12-ounce cans and bottles.
