John Butcher adds top executive role with foodservice company

Minneapolis-based Caribou Coffee, a subsidiary of JAB Holding Co., announced that John Butcher has been appointed president and chief executive officer. Butcher has served as president of Caribou Coffee since joining the company in June of 2017.
Starbucks Coffee Co., Seattle, announced the expansion of its Starbucks Delivers pilot to an additional six cities across the United States. The expansion, in partnership with Uber Eats, began in San Francisco on Jan. 21, the first of six new markets to offer the service to customers. Following an initial test in Miami, the company remains on track to bring Starbucks Delivers to nearly one-quarter of U.S. company-operated stores.

This holiday season, Seattle-based Starbucks Corp. has more surprises in store to share with consumers. The company announced the release of Juniper Latte, a new wintery beverage that features a hint of juniper and sage, an evergreen aroma and citrus notes, it says. Juniper Latte is available at participating Starbucks locations in the United States starting today (Nov. 27) for a limited time, while supplies last.
Survey shows 75 million consumers expected to shop Cyber Monday

Retailers are preparing for one of their biggest weekends of the year as an estimated 164 million people are already planning to go shopping Thanksgiving Day through Cyber Monday, according to the annual survey released by the Washington, D.C.-based National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics.
