Union Horse Distilling Co. announced the release of Rolling Standard Midwestern Four-Grain Whiskey.

LLC (RNDC), New Orleans, a distributor and broker of premium wine and spirits, and Breakthru Beverage Group LLC, New York, a distributor and broker of beer, wine and spirits in the United States and Canada, announced the execution of a Letter of Intent to combine their assets and operations.

Chicago-based Beam Suntory announced that it donated $100,000 to Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit that builds strong, stable and secure military families so they can thrive in the communities that they've worked so hard to protect. The funds will support Holiday Meals for Military, a program providing more than 8,400 family meals across the country this holiday season, run by Operation Homefront.

In time for the holiday season, California winemaker Sterling Vineyards introduced its first-ever sparkling wines a Blanc de Blancs 2016 and a Rosé 2016. 

Monroe, Wis.-based Small Town Craft Spirits announced the launch of Not Your Father’s Bourbon, the first in a new line of spirits from the craft spirits company. The company is putting a spin on the centuries-old spirit for a new generation of whiskey drinkers and cocktail connoisseurs, it says. 

Stillhouse Spirits Co. announced the limited release of a new, all-natural expression: Stillhouse Spiced Cherry Whiskey. 

Basil Hayden’s, a brand of Beam Suntory Inc., introduced its first-ever permanent addition to its portfolio: Basil Hayden’s Dark Rye. 

Backpack Wine, a brand of Source Code Beverage, introduced a new varietal joining its lineup of canned wines: Rowdy Red.
