Living Essentials LLC, Farmington Hills, Mich., kicked off its new “Yummification” video contest, which invites fans to create a video of their favorite way to mix a 5-Hour Energy shot with an everyday beverage.
Liquid Management Partners LLC introduced Liquid Ice Red energy drinks, which are made with natural flavors and fortified with B vitamins to invigorate the body in a healthy way, the company says.
SunnyD X energizing juice drink offers energy without caffeine

Sunny Delight Beverages Co., Cincinnati, announced the test market launch of SunnyD X, a carbonated juice drink designed as an alternative to energy drinks. Available in Orange, Lemon Lime and Fruit Punch flavors, the beverage lineup offers energy from B vitamins and carbohydrates instead of caffeine.
Monster Beverage Corp., Corona, Calif., reported a more than 10 percent increase in gross sales to nearly $614 million in the first quarter of 2014, which ended March 31. Net sales in the term also increased by more than 10 percent to $536 million, and gross profit reached 53.5 percent of net sales.
