Inventure Foods Inc., Phoenix, a marketer and manufacturer of specialty food brands under a variety of company-owned and licensed brand names, announced a consumer-facing campaign to invite fans to vote for the next Jamba At Home smoothie recipe. The Jamba brand is owned by Jamba Juice Co., Emeryville Calif.

Lassonde Industries Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of fruit juices and juice drinks based in Rougemont, Quebec, completed its previously announced acquisition of Apple & Eve LLC, Port Washington, N.Y., for a total cash consideration of $147.9 million.
From 2009 to 2014, juice and smoothie bars saw a 2 percent rise in revenue each year, according to a May 2014 report by IBISWorld, Santa Monica, Calif., titled “Juice & Smoothie Bars in the US.”
Coffee fruit juices on track to double sales this year

KonaRed Corp., the Koloa, Hawaii-based manufacturer of antioxidant juices from CoffeeBerry coffee fruit, announced strong sales growth in the first half of 2014.
Lassonde Industries Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of fruit juices and juice drinks based in Rougemont, Quebec, has entered into a definitive agreement through its U.S. subsidiary US Juice Partners LLC to acquire Apple & Eve LLC, Port Washington, N.Y., for approximately $150 million.
Super-premium green juice outpaces juice segment, IRI reports

Super-premium green juice is outpacing the growth of the $1.6 billion super-premium juice category, according to Seattle-based Starbucks Coffee Co., citing data from Chicago-based Information Resources Inc. (IRI). Additionally, Greek yogurt, which five years ago represented less than 10 percent of yogurt sales, today represents nearly 50 percent, according to the market research firm’s data.*
World Waters LLC expanded its WTRMLN WTR brand with WTRMLN LMN, a cold-pressed juice made from watermelon flesh and rind, with the addition of organic lemon.
Apple-based juices exclusively launched in select Whole Foods Market stores

Federal Way, Wash.-based Fresh Matters LLC’s ‘tude Juice brand is launching four new cold-pressed, high-pressure processed (HPP) juices in Apple Marionberry, Apple Cranberry, Apple Blueberry and Apple Ginger + Turmeric varieties. The new additions to the 'tude Juice line will be exclusively available in 166 Whole Foods Market stores in the Pacific Northwest, Northern California, Southern Pacific, Rocky Mountain and Southwest regions during July and August. The juices will be available to retailers nationwide beginning Sept. 1.
