Highlights zero-waste achievements in beverage market

America’s leading non-alcohol beverage companies are celebrating America Recycles Day, which takes place Nov. 15, with the latest gains in their mission to eliminate all waste going to landfills from their U.S. production facilities, according to the Washington, D.C.-based American Beverage Association (ABA).

Timberlake to work with team on product innovation, marketing

Bai Brands, Princeton, N.J, announced that Justin Timberlake will join its team as an investor and the brand’s first Chief Flavor Officer. The award-winning actor and musician will work closely with the Bai executive team on new flavor innovation, product launches, marketing campaigns and digital content, among other initiatives, the company says.

Nestlé Pure Life released its 2016 limited-edition Share-A-Scare Halloween bottles. The 8-ounce bottles are available in eight different Halloween-inspired designs.
Spindrift unveiled new packaging for its self-titled beverages. “We were the first to directly challenge the market with fresh ingredients and with so much evolution in the category, it is now more important than ever to communicate our unique use of real fruit in our package design,” Spindrift Chief Executive Officer and Founder Bill Creelman said in a statement.
Savvy marketers have known for years that packaging can play an important role in communicating a product’s proposition and influencing purchasing decisions. Natural and organic retailers, also referred by some analysts as fresh format stores, are one channel that has presented competition to traditional supermarket share.
