Fuze Beverage Co. announced its commitment to bringing breast cancer awareness and education to consumers with its newest flavor Empower. The company donated $650,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure with the introduction of this beverage. The product is a Pomegranate Acai Berry flavor and contains antioxidants that are equal to one serving of vegetables. The product is available in 18.5-ounce and 16.9-ounce bottles and retails for $1.79.
Fuze also introduced Black and Green Tea. The product contains Acai Berry as well as vitamins C, E, B3, B5, B6 and B12. Antioxidants equal to two servings of vegetables are in each 18.5-ounce bottle, the company says.
PurBlu Beverages introduced a Give Strength addition to its Give water line. The addition is a vapor-distilled electrolyte-infused water and proceeds from the product will benefits the fight against muscular disorders, the company says. The Give line contributes 10 cents per bottle to charitable causes. Packaged in 23-ounce bottles, the waters retail for $1.29 to $1.49. PurBlu Beverages also announced that Give water will be available in four new markets, including Boston, Philadelphia, Kansas City, Mo., and Maine.
Sweet Leaf Tea introduced its newest flavors, Mango Green Tea and Blueberry Lemonade. The Mango Green Tea is available in a 16-ounce bottle and a 20-ounce hot-fill PET bottle with prices of $1.39 to $1.59 and $1.59 to $1.79, respectively. Each 8-ounce serving of Mango Green Tea contains 60 calories. Blueberry Lemonade is available in limited-edition 16-ounce, reusable Mason jars for a retail price of $2.49.
Celsius introduced two Green Teas to its line of calorie-burning beverages, Celsius Green Tea Peach Mango and Celsius Green Tea Raspberry. The teas are powered by Metaboost, a blend of EGCG from green tea, ginger, caffeine, calcium, chromium, B vitamins and vitamin C. The tea is packaged in 12-ounce cans with a retail price of $1.99 and four-packs for $7.99.
Wet Planet Beverages introduced its Jolt Energy in a new larger 16-ounce can with a resealable cap. Jolt is available in Blue Raspberry, Power Cola, Ultra-Sugar Free, Cherry Bomb, Orange Blast and Wild Grape flavors. The bottles are recyclable and retail for $2.39.
The Coca-Cola Co. introduced Full Throttle Hydration, a non-carbonated energy drink containing electrolytes and vitamins, and Full Throttle Coffee, a creamy coffee and energy blend. The products join Full Throttle Original, Full Throttle Unleaded, Full Throttle Blue Demon and Full Throttle Fury. Hydration is available in a Tropical Mix flavor and is packaged in 16-ounce aluminum cans. As part of the product rollout, Full Throttle Hydration sponsored the 2008 Full Throttle Hydration Kiteboarding tour in Miami. Full Throttle Coffee is made with Colombian Arabica coffee and is available in Mocha, Vanilla and Caramel flavors. Packaging for Full Throttle Coffee Caramel will be bilingual, in both English and Spanish. Coffee is packaged in 15-ounce aluminum cans.
Mosse Beverage Industries introduced new packaging and a new flavor for its line of Mosse sparkling beverages. The newest flavor, Black Cherry, joins Black Grape, White Grape and Coffee. The company plans to introduce a full line of 14 flavors at the rate of two new flavors per year. Each 8-ounce serving of Mosse contains less than 50 calories and is sodium free. New packaging includes 10-ounce glass bottles.
Embodi unveiled a beverage of the same name that contains red wine grape extract made from the skins, seeds and stems of red wine grapes to provide the health benefits of red wine in a non-alcohol format. The product does not contain any alcohol. Embodi is available in three flavors: Berry Renewal, Citrus Resurgence and Tropical Revival. Packaged in a re-sealable 8-ounce aluminum bottle, the product is priced at $2.49.
