Stimulicious Spirits Inc. debuted Minx, a premium vodka cocktail containing guarana, caffeine, taurine, ginseng and damiana. Minx is clear in color, lightly carbonated and contains a vanilla-fruit punch flavor, the company says. The product is packaged in 8.45-ounce recyclable aluminum bottles, and is 12 percent alcohol by volume. Minx is sold in four-packs and 24-bottle cases.
Power Trip Beverages introduced a Coconut flavor to its line of vitamin energy drinks. Coconut is lightly carbonated and available in 16-ounce cans. The product joins the Mango flavor. The idea behind Power Trip Coconut came from a business trip to Trinidad when company President Doug Stuart recognized the popularity of the flavor in water, milk and mixes. A can retails for $1.99.
Arizona Beverage Co. partnered with Nestle Waters North America Inc. to create Arizona Tea Waters. The low-calorie, tea-infused waters combine Poland Spring Natural Spring Water with organic green tea, organic cane juice and fruit extracts. The product is available in Yumberry Green Tea, Mandarin Orange Green Tea and Pomegranate Green Tea flavors. The 20-ounce amber PET bottle retails for $1.49.
Bigelow Tea and Arizona Beverage Co. collaborated and launched a ready-to-drink line of teas. The flavors include Organic Green Tea Acai White Cranberry, Organic Green Tea Original Green, Organic Green Tea Lemon Ginger and Organic Green Tea Mango Lychee. The RTD line reflects Bigelow’s flavor profile with Arizona Beverage’s packaging and distribution, the companies say. The 20-ounce product carries antioxidants and vitamins C, B3, B5, B6 and B12. A bottle retails between $1.69 and $1.75.
Designer Whey released Protein Water, a beverage that combines whey protein isolate, dietary fiber and natural flavors. Protein Water carries 60 calories in each 16-ounce bottle. The product is available in Orange Mango, Pomegranate Fruit, CranApple and Blue Raspberry flavors. In addition, Protein Water is lactose free. A bottle retails for $2.99.
The Campbell Soup Co. added Goji Raspberry and Passionfruit Tangerine to its line of V8 V-Fusion 100% juices. Each 8-ounce glass of V8 V-Fusion provides a full serving of vegetables and fruit, as well as vitamins A, C and E. Goji Raspberry and Passionfruit Tangerine join Acai Mixed Berry, Pomegranate Blueberry, Pomegranate Blueberry Light, Strawberry Banana, Strawberry Banana Light, Peach Mango, Peach Mango Light and Tropical Orange varieties. The juices are available in 12-ounce and 46-ounce bottles, which retail for $1.69 and $3.99, respectively.
The Pepsi-Lipton Tea Partnership announced the launch of Lipton Sparkling Green Tea. The product is a blend of fruit flavors, green tea and sparkling water. Lipton Sparking Green Tea is available in regular Berry and both diet and regular Strawberry Kiwi. The flavors are packaged in 20-ounce and 1.5-liter bottles, and 16.9-ounce 12-packs.
PepsiCo Inc. relaunched Propel in a new lighter bottle that uses 33 percent less plastic and 30 percent less label material than the previous bottles. It also added a Blueberry Pomegranate variety and launched two new sub lines with added nutrients: Propel Body and Propel Mind. Propel Body is available in Peach Mango and contains 10 percent of the daily value of fiber, the company says. Propel Mind comes in Black Cherry, and contains vitamin E, plus choline. The new flavors and packaging are available in 20- and 24-ounce bottles, as well as 16.9-ounce six- and 12-packs. A 20-ounce bottle retails for $1.59
Sunkist Naturals, owned by Maverick Brands, added Sunkist Naturals Lemonade to its line of juices. The Lemonade contains antioxidants and no preservatives. The flavor is seasonal and replaces the Tangerine SKU. The company will begin production of Tangerine again in the fall. Sunkist Naturals Lemonade is packaged in 15.2-ounce bottles and retails for $2.99.
