Big Easy Blends introduced Cordina mar-GO-rita, a lime Margarita packaged in a 12.7-ounce stand-up flexible pouch. Cordina mar-GO-rita does not use artificial flavors or color additives. In addition, Cordina is made with agave wine, which is fermented, and is 8 percent alcohol by volume.
Brown-Forman Corp. expanded its el Jimador Tequila line with el Jimador New Mix, a tequila cocktail in a can. The cocktail launches this month in California, and rolls out nationwide in the spring. Made with el Jimador Tequila, New Mix is available in three cocktails: Margarita, Spicy Mango Margarita and Paloma.
Go Fast Sports and Beverage Co. launched Go Fast Coconut Energy Drink, a product featuring coconut water and stevia, a zero-calorie sweetener. Coconut water contains electrolytes, calcium, potassium and magnesium, the company says.
Glaceau, a division of The Coca-Cola Co., released its Vitaminwater Zero range. The line is sweetened with Truvia, a stevia leaf extract, and includes the brand’s signature range of vitamins and nutrients. The brand debuted on Fox’s “American Idol” television show last week, replacing the Coca-Cola glasses in front of the judges. The show’s newest judge, television personality Ellen Degeneres, also will appear in national advertising for the brand.
Hydrive Energy LLC introduced its Hydrive R, which stands for Recovery formula. Available in Grape Fusion flavor, Hydrive R contains 30 calories per bottle and offers 100 percent of the recommended daily amount of four B vitamins. In addition, the recovery variety incorporates Hydrive’s proprietary formula that includes acai extract, aloe vera, caffeine, electrolytes, amino acids, taurine and B vitamins.
BYB Brands Inc. introduced ready-to-drink iced teas under the Country Breeze Tea brand. Packaged in 16-ounce cans, the teas are available in Sweet Tea, Sweet Tea with Peach and Half & Half Sweet Tea & Lemonade. Country Breeze Tea is made from brewed tea for an authentic flavor and retails for 79 cents, the company says.
RAW Juice Co. introduced RAAW, a vegetable fruit juice. RAW is available in Cucumber Pineapple, Cranberry Ginger, Carrot Lemonade and Better Beets varieties. All flavors contain no preservatives, added sugar or added juices, the company says. A 16-ounce bottle retails between $3.69 and $3.99, and must be kept refrigerated.
Shmaltz Brewing Co. celebrated its 13th year with the special release of Jewbelation Bar Mitzvah, the company’s 13th beer. It is brewed with 13 malts, 13 hops and is 13 percent alcohol by volume. The product is available nationally in 22-ounce bottles.
The Coca-Cola Co. reformulated its Full Throttle product. The new formula delivers 100 percent the daily value of niacin, 100-mg. of D-ribose and 100-mg. of caffeine per an 8-ounce serving. Full Throttle now is available in Citrus, Blue Agave, Mocha and Caramel flavors. A can retails for $1.99.
Santa Cruz Organic launched Blueberry Acai, Cranberry Goji and Pomegranate Black Currant, three superfruit juices. Each flavor is 100 percent juice, and contains no added sugar, artificial flavors or preservatives. The products also are certified USDA organic.
