Xceler-8 contains chondroitin and glucosamine ingredient JointV for healthy joints, the company says. The formula is made with eight proprietary ingredients and is available in Grape, Orange, Lemon Lime, Fruit Punch and Blue Raspberry.
Kraft Foods introduced Crystal Light Pure Fitness, a low-calorie fitness beverage mix. Crystal Light Pure Fitness is sweetened with evaporated cane juice and Truvia, a calorie-free stevia-based sweetener. Pure Fitness has 15 calories per serving and also contains electrolytes to aid hydration during light physical activity, the company says.
Everlast Sports Nutrition released a ProLine of sports supplements, including HyperPlex Ready-to-Drink Shake. The ProLine was developed by a team of industry professionals that includes nutritionists, athletes and fitness-enthusiasts, the company says.
Bacardi added its Torched Cherry to its line of flavored rums. The rum combines the flavor of Barbados cherries and Torch Plant aloe, which is a nectar-rich plant indigenous to South Africa. Bacardi Torched Cherry is packaged in 50 ml., 200 ml., 375 ml., 750 ml., 1 liter and 1.75 liter sizes.
American Body Building LLC (ABB) added Speed Stack Pumped N.O. to its Speed Stack line of energy and performance products. Speed Stack Pumped N.O. has 300 mg. of caffeine, 3,000 mg. of arginine, 5 grams of glycerol and 1 gram of taurine.
Odwalla, a subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Co., Atlanta, announced its new Haiti Hope Mango Lime-Aid. The company plans to donate 100 percent of the profit from sales of Haiti Hope Mango Lime-Aid to help provide training and better market access to 25,000 mango farmers in Haiti as part of the Haiti Hope Project, which is spearheaded by Coca-Cola.
New Leaf Brands introduced a line of lemonades in Homemade, Black Cherry and Strawberry varieties. The line also includes “The Tiger” a blend of half iced tea and half lemonade. New Leaf lemonades are all natural and are made with organic cane juice. They also contain 10 percent fruit juice, the company says.
Specialty coffee and tea retailer The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf launched a new line of bottled coffee and tea beverages to be sold in select stores. The line includes three coffee and three tea-based bottled beverages made with the Coffee Bean’s own premium coffee beans and tea leaves. The retailer bottled its three most popular café drinks: Café Latte, Café Mocha and Café Vanilla.
Starbucks Coffee’s Tazo Tea brand introduced its Tazo Zero Calorie Naturally Sweetened Bottled Teas and a line of Well-Being Teas. The zero-calorie ready-to-drink tea line is brewed from real tea leaves and sweetened with stevia, a zero calorie all-natural sweetener.
Sunsweet Naturals, a cooperative of California farmers, introduced Sunsweet Herbal Blends, a line of all-natural ready-to-drink beverages that combines exotic and traditional herbs, steeped in water and lightly sweetened with organic fruit juice.
