Centrisys system adopted at wineries, beverage plants

The Centrisys Corp. offers its THK sludge thickener machine that currently is being employed at several wastewater treatment facilities, an airport in Beijing, and an East Coast winery, the company says.
Whether it’s lightweighting, treating wastewater and reducing general waste, beverage plants are changing their operational methods in order to be more energy efficient.
Delcato Family Vineyards installs 1,000 solar panels at Black Stallion Estate Winery

Delicato Family Vineyards, Manteca, Calif., announced the completion of the installation of a solar electric energy system at its flagship winery in Napa Valley. The 347.93 kW PV system includes more than 1,000 panels that were installed on building roofs at Black Stallion Estate Winery by Sunworks.

Robertet Flavors, the U.S.-based flavors division of the global Robertet Group, selected GeoPeak Energy LLC to design, install and service a high-efficiency solar energy system at its flavors manufacturing facility in Piscataway, N.J. The roof-mounted solar panels will span 115,000 square feet and will be operational by the end of 2011.
