Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc. (DPS), Plano, Texas, has reached an agreement to acquire Bai Brands LLC, Princeton, N.J., and its complete portfolio of high-growth premium antioxidant-infused beverages.
Purchase, N.Y.-based PepsiCo Inc. announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Oxnard, Calif.-based KeVita, a producer of fermented probiotic and kombucha beverages. The transaction will expand PepsiCo's health-and-wellness offerings in the premium chilled beverage space, the company says.

Victor, N.Y.-based Constellation Brands announced it has reached an agreement with Charles Smith Wines LLC to acquire its fast-growing Washington State wines for approximately $120 million. The transaction, which closed in October, includes five super and ultra-premium wines: Kung Fu Girl Riesling, Velvet Devil Merlot, Boom Booom! Syrah, Eve Chardonnay and Chateau Smith Cabernet Sauvignon.
St. Helena, Calif.-based Sill Family Vineyards announced it acquired the Ardente Estate Winery, an Atlas Peak AVA Napa winery. The property consists of 24.4 acres within the fabled Atlas Peak appellation, it adds.
Coca-Cola Beverages Florida LLC, Tampa, Fla., has closed a transaction with an affiliate of The Coca-Cola Co., Atlanta, for distribution rights in five North Florida territories, including Jacksonville, Gainesville, Orlando, Daytona and Brevard County, along with production facilities in Jacksonville and Orlando.

Geneva, Switzerland-based Firmenich announced that it is opening its first flavor facility in Lagos, Nigeria. Designed to expand the company’s footprint in all flavor business segments across the region, the new state-of-the-art facility features labs for sweet goods, beverages and savory product development, as well as offices, it says. The new facility will serve more than 200 customers across 30 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, it adds.
