Montgomery Coca-Cola Bottling Co., a division of Birmingham, Ala.-based Coca-Cola Bottling United, announced a $35 million investment in the Montgomery, Ala., area that will improve distribution, create jobs and help the local community.

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, Charlotte, N.C., announced it has signed a definitive agreement with an affiliate of Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co. to expand the bottler’s franchise territory to include the Cleveland and Cookeville, Tenn., territories, which currently are served by Coca-Cola Refreshments USA Inc. (CCR), a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Co.
Independent Coca-Cola bottler will exchange territory in Jackson, Tenn., for territory in Lexington, Ky.

(CCR), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Co., in Lexington, Ky.
BYB Brands Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, added a seasonal flavor to its Tum-E Yummies line of fruit-flavored kids drinks.
Revenue increase attributed to return of normal weather patterns

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, Charlotte, N.C., announced that it earned $16.2 million on net sales of $434.5 million for the third quarter of 2013, compared with a net income of $10.1 million on net sales of $419.9 million for the prior-year period.
Great Plains Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Oklahoma City, has signed an agreement to be acquired by The Coca-Cola Co., Atlanta, for approximately $360 million.
