Consolidated, Charlotte, N.C., announced it has signed a definitive agreement with an affiliate of Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co. to expand the bottler’s franchise territory to include the Cleveland and Cookeville, Tenn., territories, which currently are served by Coca-Cola Refreshments USA Inc. (CCR), a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Co.

Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co. signed a definitive agreement with Great Lakes Coca-Cola Distribution LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Reyes Holdings LLC, Rosemont, Ill. This agreement follows a letter of intent announced in February with Reyes Holdings LLC for the granting of territories in the greater Chicago area. The Coca-Cola Co. anticipates closing the transaction in 2015, but financial terms were not disclosed.

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, Charlotte, N.C., announced that it has signed a definitive agreement with Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co. to exchange its franchise territory in Jackson, Tenn., for territory currently served by Coca-Cola Refreshments USA Inc. (CCR), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Co., in Lexington, Ky.
Accumulating 130 additional SKUs within the last five years to reach nearly 500 total SKUs, Beverage Industry Bottler of the Year Swire Coca-Cola USA was pressed to find a warehousing solution to accommodate this proliferation.
The Coca-Cola Co., Atlanta, announced management and organizational changes related to Coca-Cola Americas in order to accelerate growth. Following the reorganization of the company’s operating structure last year, The Coca-Cola Co. is taking further action to streamline its focus and expedite its refranchising to independent bottling partners.
In order to help give back to the communities in which it operates, Swire Coca-Cola USA, Draper, Utah, partnered with several organizations to aid in the safe return of water to the areas.
