Brynwood Partners, a Greenwich, Conn.-based buyout firm, announced that its newly formed portfolio company, Harvest Hill Beverage Co., has acquired the Juicy Juice business from Nestlé USA, Glendale, Calif.
With a career spanning 35 years in the bottled water business, Kim Jeffery has seen a drastic change within the beverage industry since he joined Perrier Group of America in 1978.

First lady Michelle Obama and actress, director and producer Eva Longoria joined Washington, D.C.-based Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA), of which Obama is honorary chair, to launch an initiative that encourages everyone to drink more water.
A rebounding economy as well as convenience and a healthy image have helped bottled water sales recover from years of decline in 2008 and 2009, according to Chicago-based Mintel’s U.S. “Bottled Water” report released in March.
This summer, Perrier Sparkling Natural Mineral Water, a brand of Nestlé Waters North America, will pay tribute to Andy Warhol with a series of limited-edition bottles inspired by the legendary pop artist.
