Tanduay has released its Double Rum, 100 percent rum aged in bourbon barrels and made for sipping neat, the company says. The blended rum is a dark amber color with flavors of tropical dried fruits, toasted nuts and cooked pineapple. The deluxe aged rum features a round, fruity, medium body, a mellow blend of cherry and vanilla and an elegant medium-long woody noted finish with raisin and tropical zest. The blend of rums is aged for 16 and 5 years, and married in an ex-bourbon barrel for two years. Tanduay Double Rum is available for a suggested retail price of $49.99 for a 750-ml bottle.
