The brewers at Samuel Adams, the flagship brand of The Boston Beer Co., released a new Cold Snap recipe, as well as its new Mountain Berry brew. Cold Snap showcases the brew’s signature blend of orange zest, vanilla, lemon zest, coriander, rose hips, hibiscus, powdered plum, grains of paradise, anise and tamarind, and has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 5.3 percent. Mountain Berry boasts the flavor of raspberry, blackberry and hibiscus, and has an ABV of 4.1 percent. The limited-edition beers are available in six-packs and 12-packs for a suggested retail price of $9.99 and $17.99, respectively, as well as on draft, through March.
