Stronghold Coatings introduces RepaCoat FX, which is designed to provide a permanent, flexible coating for the sealing and repair of components like pumps. A permanently elastic two-component polyurethane elastomer, the abrasion-resistant RepaCoat Fx provides fast curing, high wear and is easily and economically applied on-site to pumps, natural and synthetic rubber, and metal, wood and concrete. The solution is temperature resistant to 120 degrees Celsius, works in aggressive environments and provides full elastic recovery even after multiple elongations and compression loading, the company says. RepaCoat FX also can be used on gaskets, conveyor belts, rollers, expansion joints, bridge piers, pipes and elbows, tubes, pumps, impellers, tanks and silos.
