TY KU Sake introduces the latest addition to its portfolio of premium sakes, Ty Ku Cucumber Sake. Brewed in the heartland of sake, Nara, Japan, TY KU Cucumber is made from premium Junmai sake infused with all-natural cucumber for a refreshingly crisp and low-calorie flavor, the company says. More specifically, it is brewed with Akebono rice, pristine natural spring water from Mt. Katsuragi, No. 901 yeast and handmade koji, it says. After the brewing process, Ty Ku Cucumber is naturally infused cucumber flavor, leaving a smooth finish, it adds.  Like the entire Ty Ku sake portfolio, Ty Ku Cucumber is free of gluten and sulfites, offers five times less acidity than wine, and contains 12 percent alcohol by volume. The new sake variety is expected to hit shelves this summer.
