Pernod Ricard USA’s Malibu brand entered the confectionery-flavored spirits segment with Malibu Sundae and Malibu Swirl. Malibu Sundae combines the brand’s Caribbean rum with coconut liqueur and the flavor of chocolate ice cream, while Malibu Swirl pairs the flavor of coconut with the taste of strawberries and cream, the company says. With 21 percent alcohol by volume, Malibu Sundae and Swirl are available in 50-ml, 750-ml and 1-liter bottles. A 750-ml bottle retails for approximately $14.99.
