21st Amendment Brewery launched its formerly winter seasonal Bitter American session ale as a year-round offering. With 4.4 percent alcohol by volume, the beer was crafted as a flavorful, low-alcohol beverage. The beer uses an imported English heirloom malt called Golden Promise, which features a rich, full body and distinctive flavor to give the beer a complex, light caramel and toasty flavor, the company says. A four-pack of Bitter American cans retails for approximately $10.99.
