Woodchuck Hard Cider launched a new line of craft cider. The Farmhouse Select Hard Cider Series is a small batch artisanal line packaged in 750-ml. corked bottles. The first product in the series, the Original ’91, is a throwback to the company’s beginning. It contains local Vermont apples, Belgian beer yeast and 6.9 percent alcohol by volume. The new cider series will be bottled on a new, exclusive production line, the company says. A bottle has a suggested retail price of $10.99.
