Winery Exchange launched Big Flats 1901 premium lager that is distributed to Walgreens stores. Big Flats 1901 is made with six-row barley malt, corn grits, hops from Yakima Valley and bottom fermenting yeast. The brand pays homage to the flat boats that traveled through the Upstate New York rivers to deliver goods to early settlers, the company says. The beer is available in cans in six-packs for a suggested retail price of $2.99 and 24-packs for $11.49 at Walgreens stores nationwide, except for California, which will launch later this year, the company says.
