New Belgium Brewing debuted its new summer seasonal beer, Somersault Ale. Somersault has a citrus aroma derived from Centennial hops, a soft apricot fruitiness, a full mouthfeel that comes from the addition of oats and a crisp, dry finish from the subtle addition of ginger, the company says. The amber tinted blonde beer will replace Skinny Dip, which was available for the past four years, as the brewery’s summer seasonal beer. Somersault Ale contains 5.2 percent alcohol by volume. The seasonal release is available in most New Belgium markets through September for $7.99 each six-pack.
