PepsiCo Inc., Purchase, N.Y., announced the 10 emerging food and beverage brands that will join its first collaborative accelerator program in North America. Each of the 10 participating startups will receive $20,000 in grant funding and participate in a six-month business optimization program. The Nutrition Greenhouse program is designed to accelerate the growth of these startups with personalized mentorship from experts at some of PepsiCo's leading and emerging brands.

Miami-based Friends Fun Wine and FIFCO USA, Rochester, N.Y., announced their intent to enter into a strategic marketing and distribution agreement. The partnership allows the Friends Fun Wine brand to expand across the U.S. market. Friends Fun Wine features a collection of Fun Wine drinks with a 5.5 percent alcohol by volume (ABV) and 71-94 calories in each 4.2-ounce serving, and a slight effervesce.

Although reported net revenues for the quarter declined because of refranchising, the company delivered broad-based organic revenue (non-GAAP) and volume growth across all operating groups, while gaining value share globally, it reports.
