Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition

Woodford Reserve launched Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition, a limited-edition of what it calls the “ultimate expression of American Whiskey.” Featuring Woodford Reserve Bourbon that aged an additional three years in XO cognac casks from France, the whiskey is a balance of crisp American and French oak notes, complex fruit character, subtle spiciness, and a creamy confectionary finish, it says. Packaged in a handmade crystal decanter that took five days to create in Baccarat, France, the bottle design was meant to evoke the iconic Woodford Reserve bottle silhouette, and is engraved in gold. Woodford Baccarat is 45.2 percent alcohol by volume and retails for $2,000 for a bottle.
