May 4, 2020

This year, NASCAR’s Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway became the first “virtual” race televised live on FS1. With 903,000 viewers, the eNASCAR iRacing Dixie Vodka 150 was the most watched e-sports event in America, the company says. Drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, Bobby Labonte and others participated. Dixie Vodka made an initial $10,000 contribution through The NASCAR Foundation to aid Feed The Children South Florida as they support families in and around Miami impacted by COVID-19. Hamlin donated $100 for every lap he led while Kevin Harvick and the Kevin Harvick Foundation matched Hamlin’s pledge, along with iRacing and Fox Sports, which each pledged to contribute $5,000 on behalf of the winner to The NASCAR Foundation.
