Khrone manufactures new OPTIMASS meter

Khrone Inc. announced it is manufacturing the OPTIMASS 1000 Straight Tube Coriolis Mass Meter at its newly opened state-of-the-art flow and level instrument manufacturing and calibration facility. The device, an upgrade from the OPTIMASS 7000 series, offers exceptional measurement capabilities with the flexibility and options of high-end meters, at a competitive price, the company says. Designed for the food and beverage industries, the OPTIMASS 1000 operates at temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius to as high as 130 degrees Celsius. Designed with a close-coupled twin-tube configuration with an optimized flow splitter, the meter is durable and capable of handling a range of flow rates with pressure fluctuations, it says. It also offers end users a number of hygienic process connectors and comes standard with a measuring tube that is 100 percent accurate, while ensuring the highest level of safety, it adds. The device utilizes Krohne’s modular electronic converters, which can be fitted across a range of flowmeters, allowing instruments to address unique applications, providing either basic functionality or high-end diagnostic capabilities. It also can be fitted with most industry standard hygienic connectors and DIN, ANSI and JIS standard flanges.
