Solvay introduces Vanifolia, Rhovanil US NAT for clean-label solutions

Solvay Aroma Performance, a global provider of vanillin and ethyl-vanillin ingredients, offers a portfolio of natural and functional solutions for the food and beverage industry. Aimed at helping manufacturers overcome formulation challenges in high-protein applications, Solvay’s high-performance Vanifolia solution is specifically developed for offnote masking and enhanced taste. As consumer interest in high-protein dietary products increase, new plant-based protein varieties, such as pea protein, continue to emerge, the company says. Solvay helps manufacturers resolve the off-flavor, mouthfeel and formulation issues inherent in using alternative protein sources. The company also launched Rhovanil US NAT, a new clean-label ingredient that delivers high intensity flavor and improved taste in a range of applications, including beverages and chocolate, it adds. Rhovanil US NAT is FEMA GRAS compliant, non-GMO, allergen free, and kosher and halal certified.
