Drinks Americas lands Disney distribution deal
Day of the Dead craft beer now available at Epcot
Los Angeles-based Drinks Americas Holdings Inc.’s Day of the Dead craft beer now is available on-premise at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla. The authentic Mexican beer, which is brewed at Mexican-owned brewery Cerveceria Mexicana, now is part of the beverage lineup at the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot.
"Having Day of the Dead craft beer available in Disney's Epcot Center is a huge testament to our brand,” said Joe Belli, national sales manager for Day of the Dead craft beer, in a statement. “This account is another reinforcement that we are the leader in this category."
Day of the Dead craft beer is available in six variations — Amber Ale, Pale Ale, IPA, Hefeweizen, Blonde Ale and Porter — all with packaging that depicts the same-named Mexican holiday.
