Diageo North America brought back its original unaged George Dickel whiskey with the release of George Dickel White Corn Whisky Foundation No. 1 Recipe. Over the last 140 years, the Foundation No. 1 Recipe served as the backbone for George Dickel whiskeys including No. 8, No. 12 and Barrel Select, the company says. The returning George Dickel Foundation No. 1 Recipe is handmade from grains and Cascade Spring water before being finished through George Dickel's signature Chill Charcoal Mellowing process, it adds. Containing 45.5 percent alcohol by volume, a 750-ml bottle has a suggested retail price of $21.99.
